I haven't finished implementing the backend stuff so all features are pretty much the same. The code is a little better and will allow me to update things a lot easier.
Perhaps I should let you know what my thoughts were when I redesigned the site. I actually had about five different drafts before I got to this one.
The main issues I had with my design were:
- Not scalable: large pictures and text would mess up everything
- Too graphically distracting. I wanted something more simple.
- Not simple: The background and design took away from the content.
- There are many other issues, but those are the biggest or at least the ones I remember off the top of my head.
