Happy New Year everyone. Part of my gifts for my family was a personalized calendar. We went to Europe this year and I wanted to make something to commemorate it. So I made a calendar of some of the pictures for 2004.

My motto this holiday was to realize all of the blessings God has given me.


I have realized these. I am blessed. We are all blessed. A lot of times, I concentrate on the things that I am not given, the things I can't do, opportunities that are not given to me. For the next year, I hope to concentrate on what I have and make the best of it.

happy birthday dad!

I haven't been here in a while.

It was my dad's birthday on the 20th. We celebrated it by watching LOTR. Serious butt cramps. Apparently, some obese girl in front of me threw up during the movie. My sister told me after.

It was a good movie though. DOn't worry I won't ruin it for anyone.

We went the "Body Shots Christmas Party". It was a party organized by the organizers of those famous filipino pageants. It's not as gay as you would think it would be. My mom's best buddy, Uncle Pete, was one of the main organizers. It was fairly entertaining. The Mendoza's almost cleaned up that night. My mom was a finalist in Musical Chairs. She entertained everyone with her dance moves.

We also got the best gift in Evil Santa. We also won the raffle for the biggest door prize worth more than $100. It was my $5 that won the prize, but my sister Melissa bought the tickets. She's the luckiest person I know.

I performed this morning with Geoff and Glen. We did that Christmas party we did last year. Except it was in a different venue with much more people. Video will be posted soon.

I haven't even seen Dy since I came back. That can't be good. I'll put that on high prio.

I haven't been here in a while.

It's a different world in Toronto. At least it was.

As I was walking outside to Mel's Diner for lunch yesterday in Waterloo, the ground was covered in 5 inches of snow. I was walking ahead of the group in the sidewalk. All of a sudden, I step into a foot deep hole!!!

What is hole doing in the side walk? Of course I didn't see it because it was covered in snow. Half of one of my legs was covered in snow. Geez.

I told my dad, he told me a story about my mom. My mom was walking with her friend along a road. They were talking, then all of a sudden, my mom's friend disappeared. She was scared and it was late and dark. It turned out that my mom's friend fell into a man hole(sewer)! The cap was off.

She was ok tho.

I saw Honey with Dy, Geoff, and Czar on Saturday. As I was buying my ticket, Geoff handed me this coupon for the ticket.

The ticket salesperson says, "one dollar please". I was confused. $1 huh? I don't get it. That's a helluva coupon.

It was a pretty good movie. It was kind of a hip hop meet sister act meet the slamming jessica alba. whew.

The show featured lots of toronto people. I think everyone except the few main actors were from torono. Maestro was in it. DJ Starting from Scratch was in it. Dan and Josh were in it also.

I officially told my employers I won't be returning. Though it will be an exciting year for RIM and I'd like to be a part of it, it's time to move on.

In other news, Mel, a uw hip hop exec, took like 200 pictures from ouch. I'll put them on my site because i know she doesn't want everyone having her imagestation account. I haven't even looked at all of them yet.

Geoff and I will be performing at a night club in toronto next friday the 12th at midnight. It's for the same company that we did last Christmas. That should be interesting.

My girlfriend majors in English and Psychology so I'm pretty sure she knows what she's talking about when she says that I show symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Personality. It's a sign of a true friend when they warn you of your deviations and problems in life. It is always hard to tell some one this.

So these are the symptoms and some of them are incredibly accurate (for me).

A pervasive pattern of preoccupation with orderliness, perfectionism, and
mental and interpersonal control, at the expense of flexibility, openness,
and efficiency, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of
contexts, as indicated by four (or more) of the following:

1. is preoccupied with details, rules, lists, order, organization, or
   schedules to the extent that the major point of the activity is lost
2. shows perfectionism that interferes with task completion (e.g., is unable to complete a project because his or her own overly strict standards are not
   met)
3. is excessively devoted to work and productivity to the exclusion of
   leisure activities and friendships (not accounted for by obvious economic
   necessity)
4. is overconscientious, scrupulous, and inflexible about matters of
   morality, ethics, or values (not accounted for by cultural or religious identification)
5. is unable to discard worn-out or worthless objects even when they have no sentimental value
6. is reluctant to delegate tasks or to work with others unless they submit
   to exactly his or her way of doing things
7. adopts a miserly spending style toward both self and others; money is
   viewed as something to be hoarded for future catastrophes

Interesting weekend. One positive thing that I can take from this weekend was that I was operating at near peak effeciency. I got a lot of work done.

On the other end of the shtick was today. After doing a decent amount of work, I flip on the raptor game and do work simultaneously. Raps get smoked. I do more work after the game. The positive: maybe that crazy trade might happen afterall.

Then I rush to my A-level vball playoff game. We win the first set. Then we have 3 match points in the second set, but eventually lose. Damn it. Ah well. Positive things from that: I played acceptably, more time for homework next week.

After that, I have a practice for hip hop. We run through for an hour or so then we perform for the Accounting Students association. Yes, I know, sounds massively geeky. We enter, and they're doing a date auction. I witness this chick pull in $50 from this dude. Whoa man.

I don't have a good vybe about this thing. Not a lot of people and it's in MC! Ah well. We get start and it's mad quiet and people are starring right into your grill. Ah man awkward. When will it end?

You know I think I write code 12-16 hours a day. That's insane err I'm insane err I will be insane.

After that, I have a practice for hip hop. We run through for an hour or so then we perform for the Accounting Students association. Yes, I know, sounds massively geeky. We enter, and they're doing a date auction. I witness this chick pull in $50 from this dude. Whoa man.

I don't have a good vybe about this thing. Not a lot of people and it's in MC! Ah well. We get start and it's mad quiet and people are starring right into your grill. Ah man awkward. When will it end?

Positives: more practice..eh not much positives

You know I think I write code 12-16 hours a day. That's insane err I'm insane err I will be insane.

I talked to Brent yesterday over MSN. If you don't remember Brent, he's my boy from high school. His picture has been featured here on my site. Numerous searches for his name hit my site.

Anyways, I wanna say congratulations to him for being 1st runner up in the MTV Phillippines Best Model 2003 contest. He also won the "Best Body" Award. Apparently, he's ripped now. He gets to go to China for something in February.

I'm running a show. It's called OUCH (Ontario University Competition for Hip Hop). As the name connotes, it's a hip hop dance competition. It will be in waterloo. So far, we've got McMaster, Laurier, 2 teams from York, and 2 teams from Waterloo. It's unfortunate that UofT has done nothing all term.

What's interesting about this competition is that we're all University students struggling mightily with time management. So we'll see what these people can do with the little free time they have.

And that's not it. We've also got Canadian Idol finalist, Mikey Bustos, performing and judging. We also have hip hop legend, Maestro performing. If things work out as well, 5th Element will be spinning. As you know, Fresco of 5th Element did out logos e.g.
