6 Days A.D
It's been six days since my last exam. I received all of my marks back and I passed. I wasn't really worried about failing, but it's nice that it's almost official. I've heard so much talk from other students about "just passing" that it had me a little worried. Anyway, it's all official on May 24 when marks and degree requirements are sent out.
Anyway, things I've been doing since my last exam:

- Ballet: Dy volunteered to take some foster kids to see the ballet version of Cinderella. The kids were nice, but the show was not so. I appreciate the dancing, its beauty, and its technical difficulty, but I do not appreciate how the show was put together. Do they really need to spend 5 minutes showing me the stupid shoe? Look a broom! Let's dance for 10 minutes about it. Bottom line, it translated into a 2 hour show. The show is meant for kids. Kids don't have attention spans that long.
- Niki@District: It was dy's cousin, Niki's, birthday last friday. It was celebrated at District night club, After we found the back alley entrance, we didn't stay for too long.
- Glen's Birthday: "Check" celebrated a birthday on Saturday in his family's new massive house. There were tons of guests with the usual filipino events: poker, karaoke, and ping pong. We all had a good time and I think Glen enjoyed his bubble wrapped gift from Dy and me.
- Kuaz's Birthday: Yes another Birthday celebrated at Shoeless Joe's. Lots of people showed up for this one. Every year for his birthday, we usually do an all nighter thing and Kuaz ends up doing knee spins...but this was Sunday night and most have work, so we called it a night relatively early
- Dave's Birthday: holy crap another one. We didn't directly celebrate his birthday, but we did play basketball in Markham. The unfortunate thing is that tires were slashed on two cars. That was Knaked Knight's last post "slashed". Honestly, these things follow me around. From getting my cars egged, getting my car stereo stolen, both bikes stolen, then this...I'm starting to think someone has it in for me. Someone wants to take away all my means for transportation. In any case, those people are cowards hiding behind pathetic acts. Their future failures are enough payback for me.

Check is part of 5th Element. He's also knaked knight aka Blurr's brother. Excuse Blurr, he's too used to the beefin that's been going on here. So understandably, he reacted that way.

Good question. We have actually performed quite a bit since 2002. We're students who happen to live in different cities so we can't perform all the time.
What's more confusing is that we've kinda merged with VYBE. Since they outnumber us, most of the time we perform under their name. I don't have all of the videos up, but performances since 2002 include:
..to name a few. Oh yeah, Spotlight the last few years and this year. I thinking I'm forgetting a few performances we did last year.
In any case, thanks for caring. It's my fault that I haven't been updating the video section. I am seriously redesigning this site and I will add more videos and content. The site will be relaunched on the anniversary of this site. That's a good quiz question.

Wow, this site hasn't seen a flurry of those kind of posts in a while (ray covers his face in embarassment). Hopefully it stops.
I have an exam today in Computer Architecture. I can't wait to get it over with. I can't wait to not study. Summer is only a few breaths away, but I'm under water.
I've started to research in getting a new desktop computer. My current one is 4 years old and is starting to show its age. The basic config I'm looking at is a 20"+ LCD with 1600x1200 resolution, Athlon64, All-in-wonder x800XT. I want to balance power and noise. My current desktop is loud as hell, but the funny thing is that I can't sleep without it being on. The noise, however, is unacceptable and that's why I've named it "Boeing".
Did we ever figure out who exactly "Great Hall" is?

I just finished my Cryptography Final. I think it went OK. I still have two more exams to go, but I already signed up for the UW Alumni group. Perhaps that's pretentious, but I have enough marks to graduate without the finals.
My days at Waterloo are numbered. Although I'm excited to get the heck out of this city, I'm having that same feeling I had when I was down to my last few exams in high school. I'll miss it in a weird way, but I'm ready to close that chapter and move on. I have to find a word that describes it.
When I close a chapter, I'll have to start a new one. The odd thing is that new chapter includes Physio therapy. I've had hip flexor problems for over a year due to overuse and not stretching. So I think I'll be starting treatment next week.
In other news, I got an email from Mikey Bustos. You probably remember him from Canadian Idol. He, along with a few other friends, has been the center of hot topics at this website. Anyway, he's having a CD release party. Here are the details:

My days at Waterloo are numbered. Although I'm excited to get the heck out of this city, I'm having that same feeling I had when I was down to my last few exams in high school. I'll miss it in a weird way, but I'm ready to close that chapter and move on. I have to find a word that describes it.
When I close a chapter, I'll have to start a new one. The odd thing is that new chapter includes Physio therapy. I've had hip flexor problems for over a year due to overuse and not stretching. So I think I'll be starting treatment next week.

On Monday, UW Hip Hop had termual (term version of annual) end of term photoshoot and dinner. The photoshoot has gotten more extravagant as FJ's hobby has. He setup a studio like setting in the dance studio and in the Student Life Center. Since it was my last term in Waterloo, he wanted to focus it on me. Here are some pictures (click on them to see the massive versions).
After the photoshoot, we went to Pita Pit for a late night dinner. I was pretty suprised that people genuinely cared that I was leaving. I felt appreciated and I'm going to miss my days in UW Hip Hop. I put a lot into the club and I can't wait to see what crazy things they do in the future.
On Monday, UW Hip Hop had termual (term version of annual) end of term photoshoot and dinner. The photoshoot has gotten more extravagant as FJ's hobby has. He setup a studio like setting in the dance studio and in the Student Life Center. Since it was my last term in Waterloo, he wanted to focus it on me. After the photoshoot, we went to Pita Pit for a late night dinner. I was pretty suprised that people genuinely cared that I was leaving. I felt appreciated and I'm going to miss my days in UW Hip Hop. I put a lot into the club and I can't wait to see what crazy things they do in the future.
On Monday, UW Hip Hop had termual (term version of annual) end of term photoshoot and dinner. The photoshoot has gotten more extravagant as FJ's hobby has. He setup a studio like setting in the dance studio and in the Student Life Center. Since it was my last term in Waterloo, he wanted to focus it on me. what made you say he is the most known controversial pope?. what are your basis? it is not even in the news. as far as he is known, he is even called "the great" it is safe to say "one of the most contoversial popes" coz a lot of popes were being controversial too before. please research.

Basic Footwork
Toprock/Uprock
This basic footwork is to be made up by the dancer themself. You must put your own style into it. I will just list a small outline of a standard, very simplified toprock/uprock. Stylizing it starts with motions of the arms, twists of the legs, and there's infinite possibilities. Also, you don't have to do these motions of the legs, many people's toprock/uprock's won't look anything like it, so be creative.
Step 1: Stand with left foot about 1 foot in front of the right.
Step 2: Cross right foot directly over and onto the left side of the left foot.
Step 3: Lift right foot up, and hop it up to the right so your feet end up parallel to each other facing forward.
Step 4: Now cross the left foot directly over and onto the right side of the right foot.
Step 5: Life left foot up, and hop it up to the left so your feet end up parallel again.
Step 6: Repeat, and don't forget to make your own style.
Six-Step/Downrock
The six-step is a simple, but very nice and common footwork that is just as important as the uprock. Add your own footwork like stalls to get some respect. Step 1: Get down on all fours with chest facing the ground. Arms and legs pretty straight.
Step 2: Step left foot inbetween the right hand and right foot, then lift the right hand up.
Step 3: Bring right foot up infront of and to the side of the left foot, bring your right hand down on the ground to your side, and turn body so you're into the crab position with your ass almost touching the ground.

PJ2 was my boy
Yeah I've performed in odd places before, but performing for the Pope would be something else.
He was known as the most controversial Pope. I never got the controversial part. Dy and I had a conversation about this a couple of days ago. What's so controversial about not killing babies? Just don't do it. I guess it just makes too much sense to me that I don't see a need for it to be a controversy.
The Pope was one of those few truly eternally present beings. He'll make a huge impact whether or not he is with us. The Pope was the man for all seasons. L has the "Life of the Pope" DVDs that I have yet to watch.
I'm officially finished my undergraduate classes. I handed in all of my assignments and projects and I'm now in exam mode till 9PM April 20th.
After that, I have a few projects to work on(complete with project names....cause every project needs one):
There are a few others and as Dy would say, "don't forget "Project Dy".
It's kind of incredible how family and other people are finding this website (Hi Nat!). This is promising and more reason to get the new version up and running. I do, however, get a little shy about my site. Since I have anonymous posting, things can get really weird. Also, sometimes I can offend people when I'm just making a joke. There's not much I can do about that except that I'll never be a politician. A few more people found out about this site, like people from the Hip Hop club. I dunno though....I think I've written enough for now.

- Overdue: This is the total revamping of this website. I'll have two months to finish it so I think that's enough time. The reason for the name is obvious
- Roger Rabbit: This summer, I want to work on documenting my life (family and gf too) in an organized way. This is more of a long term project obviously, but I'll be starting it this summer. Why "Roger Rabbit"? What's up doc?
