weird feelings
All day monday, I had these weird feelings. I felt a little sad and unmotivated for some reason. Later that night, I found out about the SIU investigation results on Jeff.
I've watched enough TV and lived enough life to know that you can't believe everything you hear. Regardless of the investigation results, I will always remember Jeff as a kind and pure-hearted person. That's justice enough for me.

Ray's Thinkin'
What's wrong Ray? You looked Flustered. Is something bothering you? Dy seemed happy with you, so why think about what they say.

is it just me??
birthday weekend
The beauty...
The beauty and the beast in her backyard before a small gathering.
BooM's sister, Rookie, and Dylan. Rookie is too cute and smart. She skipped a grade.
Opening gifts...My friends like snowboarding, so they started Dy off...
Who eats popcorn with a spoon and sprite? Glen does!
J-ro gets his cake too! There's Geoff in the background eyeing that cake.
I like taking pics with Dy's bestfriend, Leen. She makes me feel tall! She's sporting her nice tan from her Tropical trip to Dominican.
Di2, Dy, and Leen...5th element girlfriends

BEHIND US ALL
It's not that I'm antisocial. Indeed I have several wonderful friends, many of them bearable to be around. It's just that the most vicious attacks I've endured in my time have been from alleged friends. There are indeed people among us who would see us come to harm, but they may not fit the profile you'd expect.
Some are more flagrant than others, such as the Time Bomb Friend. The Time Bomb Friend may be one of the most pleasant people in your life. In fact he probably is, since his attack depends on it. You will enjoy being with the Time Bomb Friend. You will confide in the Time Bomb Friend. You may even trade trading cards with the Time Bomb Friend. But then one day, as you stroll along pleasantly enjoying the pleasant company of this pleasant fellow, everything will change. You'll say something along the lines of "too bad about taxes " or "I like gum" and unknowingly trigger some deep-rooted psychosis, suddenly transforming your amiable chum into an enraged peacock.
"Oh, that's fine for you to say," he'll retort.
"Sorry?" you'll say, taken back.
"I said that's what I'd expect you to say, you smarmy sack of excrement."
"I'm sorry, all I said was I like gum."
"I know what you were really saying and you know what? I'm just glad it's finally come out because I don't know how much longer I could have pretended to be your friend. Thanks for making it easier. I'm out of here. Go die."
And with that, the Time Bomb Friend is gone. Typical of his species, however, he may return, and no recollection of the outburst will be apparent. Enjoy.
The Saboteur Friend, on the other hand, is a cunning creature. Cripplingly insecure, this friend will seek control of friendly activities and then abuse that control in order to assert her dominance.
Let's say you and a small group of friends have tickets to see Ratt at a bowling alley in New Paltz, NY. Living as you do in New Jersey, you need to plan for transportation and funding. The Saboteur Friend will become excitable and immediately blurt her willingness to offer her vehicle and her services as driver. Overwhelmed by her helpful spirit and desperate to hear Ratt's new material, the group agrees and plans are made to meet in the King Cone parking lot at 5pm the night of the tournament/show.
That night arrives. At 4:53pm your phone rings. It's the Saboteur Friend, and something's wrong.
"Hi."
"Hey! So, King Cone in about ten minutes?"
"Huh? Oh, right the concert. Look, you know, I'm not really in the mood... I'm thinking I might just want to chill at home tonight."
"What? But everyone's gonna meet there at six and no one else can drive on such short notice."
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize I signed a contract saying I was everyone's chauffer! If my car is the only thing you guys like about me then I'll go find new friends who appreciate me for me! Tell everyone I said to kiss my rear! Oh - and Ratt eats it!!" She hangs up.
If the bazaar shift in tone didn't convince you, the remark about Ratt will: this girl has problems. There is, of course an alternate outcome to this tale. The Saboteur Friend could show up, drive everyone to New Paltz, stop at a gas station, then announce that she didn't bring her wallet because she'll be darned if she's gonna pay everyone's way on the trip because she's not made of money. Either way, she goes home thinking she's made her point clearly and the rest of you go home thinking she's a major jerk. So I guess the moral of this one is: "be suspicious of helpful friends."
Of course I myself have not always been the most stalwart friend. In middle school I was painting a mural with my best friend Martin when, completely unprovoked, I drew on his denim jacket with a fine point Sharpie. Why? I couldn't tell you. I wasn't mad at him. I harbored no resentment, no jealousy. I guess I was just behind on my transgressions for that week. Whatever it was, Martin immediately and unconditionally forgave me and it never came up again.
Conclusions? People are weird, "enemies" is a relative term, and Martin was a really great guy. Oh, and if you're my friend, you should probably stain treat your clothes before spending time with me.
Re: Ray and Dy should date other people
Listen, Wrecker, we all have our opinions and it's very brave of you to post such an opinion here, but the idea of "trying" other people is absurd to me. You don't need to try other people. I've never smoked, done drugs, or got drunk in my life. Does that mean I should try just to know for sure it's wrong?
Dy is my girl and I love her. That's all I need to know.
Ray and Dy should date other people
I know its hard to open up your heart again
you've been through too much hurt,
too many lies
so many times you've seen a love
you thought would last
then suddenly you'd see it swiftly die.
I know it's hard for you to learn to trust in me
your heart is too afraid to fall again
you can't believe me
when I tell you how I feel
`coz you're thinking
of how soon my love will end
I know it's hard `coz I've been
through the same before
I've trusted once too much,
I've felt the pain
but since you came into my life,
I vowed to myself
I'll never let a love like this
leave me again

playground
Yeah it's been getting a little harsh here lately, but that's because people care so I don't mind that. It's all in good fun anyway
So I hardly got any response on that website thing. If you don't recall, I tried I lost a bunch of bookmarks of peoples' sites. So if you have some, post them here or email me.
Whoa....I thought I'd do something I haven't done in a while.....post a video!
It's from a year ago at the U of T dance festival. It's not particularly impressive, but it's fun watching me and a 2004 Rising Star finalist jump around like handshaking monkees....
right click and download it
I'm too lazy to put a subject
And for a while I thought this was a friendly site. Sometimes the culprit is in the circle.

Re: Brent vs. Ray
There are only a few people outside of my high school that actually know both Brent and me. I doubt that Notorious is one of them. Brent and I don't have enough pride to let unsubstantiated criticisms hurt us. The right thing to do is to listen to these criticisms and accept them as constructive.
So Notorious, how about a deal?
I'll grow up and Brent will get a real job by joining you at wherever you work. We'll both enjoy a big pay cut.
I'll turn down the notches on Brent's gay meter so he is just gay and not too gay. I don't know why you think he's gay. If you are a girl, your failed attempts at catching his attention make you conclude his orientation. If you are guy, you just want him to be gay to give yourself a dreaming chance.
I'll start taking your hip hop classes and I'll throw away my digi.
Notorious, if all of that doesn't satisfy you, you'll just have to settle for an old fashioned ass whoopin.
Who is this guy???
and whut do you mean he doesn't want to grow up???
can't do hip hop???
Please answer all my questions so i can fully understand the mind of the homo who actually wastes his time analyzing the thing between ray and brent???
I got one...
Notorius: homo; takes time to study ray's life so he can make fun of him on his own site; stares at brent's body to realize he is a 2 inch toothpick; get a life!!! sounds like you need one...ha ha ha!!!
Hiding behind internet nicknames...
this dude is out of his element...
what a fruit...

SUPERMAN AND WONDERWOMAN
Don't mind them..they're just jealous coz they don't have special someone by their side.
no filter
In the ideal case, my friends and whoever would come here and post some news about themselves. Perhaps I should set something up where friends can upload pics and other files so they can share them. That would be cool and that would motivate me to actually finish this site.
Thanks Di for that entertaining post. For those of you who don't know, Di is not my Dy. She's one of my good friend's girlfriends. Consequently, she's very good friends with my girlfriend. It just works out that way.
One thing I forgot to mention about Hip Hop class yesterday was that I forgot the steps as I was teaching it. I did this with 2 bars to go so I did what Delta G suggested...make it up on the spot...
So vince officially wants a trade . I say let him go. I still like him, but our team sucks. There's no point in wasting VC's career also...Trade him to Miami. The Shaq-VC combo should be interesting.
Geez Ray....
Now what kind of sicko gets her jollies off seeing THAT?!

recurring problem
Thanks Dy for backing me up. That Justice League comment didn't make sense like 90% of the unknown posters...
Another long day today. I went to london for a meeting, then back home to do some homework. I had a class, then a lab, then I taught my first hip hop class of the term. This was a different class though. It was a "try before you buy" class. Students get to try out my class before they register. There were about 40 people in the class, but there are only 30 spots.
Don't get this confused with hip hop club. This is not the same.
and the beat goes on...

How'd the concert go?
Lots of energy. Not bad for a first rock concert eh? I'm really hoping that we get a chance to do a Toronto show, but so far all our bookings are elsewhere.
Neat Room: Too Colorful
How old is the owner? Is the room designed for a teenager?
moved in
It's an old place, but I did the best we did the best we could with my room and the rest of the house. There a few missing things in my room as the following pictures will detail.
This is what you see when you walk into my room. The bare wall on the left will soon be home to my arcade basketball net. Two desks corner the heater while a sparse bookshelf populates the far wall. You may also notice the numbered mats on the floor. I got these mats years ago. It sorta makes my room look like a play room.
Here you can see the flying Superman Dy brought me from the phillippines. Behind Superman is my wardrobe and 2 of my 4.1 speakers.
Here is my collection of posters which are not damaged from underuse. Yes I like Jordan and yes that's Shaq in an Orlando jersey.
There's franklin taking first dibs on my bed. Yes I like Superman and yes I'm back in that Superhero craze phase. I used to only where superhero clothes when I was a kid. It was either superman, spiderman, or batman on any given day.
Here's a slightly better view of my computer setup. For those of you know my hardware, you'll notice one monitor is MIA. I sent it from Seattle a couple weeks ago, but it hasn't arrived. Hopefully, it's just stuck in customs. I don't want to deal with a lost or stolen report.
On another note, one of things I've noticed about myself is that since I've been moving around a lot, I haven't been keeping in touch with all of my friends. I hope to change that.
I just want to give a massive happy birthday to my cousin Kevin. I stayed with his family during my stay in Orange County. Happy birthday man!

ray vs.
Rayman vs. Spiderman
It's been a while since Spiderman 2. Spiderman was a bit out of shape and he added a fanny pack to his costume. I really did not like Spiderman 2 so I let the star know it. Defeating him was so easy that it yielded a yawn. He's proportionately as strong as a spider, but I'm proportionately as strong as Spiderman's body odour.
Rayman vs. Supergirl
After seeing me easily defeat Spiderman, Supergirl could not resist me. Like Spiderman, I was disappointed by Supergirl's physique. Further, her new prostitute-like costume turned me off. Regardless, I must show a bit of respect.
Rayman vs. Jaws
Jaws wasn't as friendly as Supergirl. After I tied him up, he wanted a taste of filipino flesh. I used my proportionate strength to keep his teeth from grinding me.

i'm back
I'm back in Canada land and happy about it. We were ahead of schedule going to toronto so the pilot circled downtown toronto a bit. It's nice to be home. I miss my family in Seattle and Orange County, but it's nice to be home.
As planned, I went to CNE to watch Glen in the Rising Star finals. He didn't win the championship, but the guy in his category (solo dance) won it all. That was not the important part to me. Glen genuinely impressed me. I don't think I've ever seen him perform before. He was consistent with 5th Element's creativity except that he took it to another level. Geoff and I may be tough on you during practices for our performances, but we both concurred that you made us extremely proud. Glen, you are a champion. No fruity tap dancer will ever take that away.
The video will be coming out in the next few weeks. I didn't take many pictures during your performance, but Kuaz did. Here's one picture after his performance.

JEFF-FEST POTSPONED
JEFF-FEST! Is temporarily postponed
The Jeffrey Reodica Festival to be held at the Scarborough Civic Centre on Saturday, September 4, 2004, has been officially postponed until a later date.
Negotiations are currently under way between event organizers, city officials and stakeholders involved to expedite a new date. At a meeting today, City Officials gave their assurance with the Justice for Jeffrey Coalition and event organizers that they are indeed committed to assist us and ensure that the Festival takes place successfully and securely.
This event was organized to commemorate the life, and death of 17-year-old Jeffrey Reodica, who was gunned down by an undercover officer on May 21, 2004.
We welcome everyone to visit the website for updates to this and other events.
? For those who made plans to be at the event, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience.
? For those who are brave enough to send the appeal, we thank and salute you all.
? For those young volunteers who refuse to take NO for an answer, ?you take a knocking, but keep on rocking.?
